Anika Noni Rose is an American actor and singer. Her most well-known role is Tiana the very first African American character In The Princess and the Frog. The film was awarded her the title of an official Disney Legend in 2011. Rose played Lorrell Robertson on Dreamgirls that won the Academy Award. Anika Noni (born on September 6, 1972) is a singer as well as an American actor. The most famous of her roles was her performance as Tiana Ariel, the princess of Disney, who was one of the very first African American princess in The Princess and the Frog (2009).
