Professor Gail S. Goodman holds the distinguished chair in psychology in the University of California Davis and is the Director of its Center for Public Policy Research. It is widely believed that she was the one who beginning the current science-based study of children's memories of eyewitnesses and children's victimes as witness in court circumstances. Professor Goodman has published widely as well as received numerous grants. She has also received numerous national and international prizes. She has been a consultant to numerous governments and agencies throughout the world on policies and research concerning children who are victims of the justice system.
